Hey aginpro,

Love your puppet :) It could use some adjustment in the wings and a few more frames in the beak/mouth however. I am not sure It has a huge amount of vocal range at the moment. The wings however on both of them aren't in perspective. The profile's wing should be much more side on, and the 3Q should be rotated clockwise slightly. Right now, animating them would make it look like she is going backwards.

But thanks for sharing, I appreciate it :D

I have been there, many a time. Maybe at some point you should go back to it. There aren't many good Griffin puppets around, and this one is on a good start.

but maybe just having a start is for the better, i have seen a problem that instead of using puplic assest to help or short cut so limit the themself to them. i don't mind people using alot of pre made stuff but if you get dependent on them you will never grow as an artist, i have seen people refuse to draw new hoofs and just bending the one they have to avoid everything possible that they have to redraw something, but yeah, maybe il get back to it

I agree with you there, and as a vector inspector I see that more than most other people would. But I think the best way for someone to learn how to animate, is to see what people animate with. Specifically, puppets.

Yes but to grow as a animator and a artist you need to challenge yourself.

Again, completely agree. Personally, I found playing with puppets and doing show traces helped me get a grip of how things worked, before I started making things, and animating things myself. For a complete noobie,  Animation in general is quite confusing, and pony animation even more so. I am currently working on a quite advanced animation right now, and if I hadn't played with puppets, or learnt to vector through show traces, I would never have even been able to do as much as I have, let alone understand it.
